With ten prime contractors and numerous subcontractors supplying parts formanufacturing the carbine during World War II, there are enough variations to interest everyone from novice to advanced collectors, and of course shooters.
The front sight is the stamped/brazed construction manufactured by Simpro Manufacturing Company of Newark, NJ (SI) and properly marked for an IBM carbine.
